1. Cleaning: the surface must be clean, completely dry and free from all
layers. Depending on the type of stone and the degree of soiling, the
following products can be recommended, please pay attention to our
care recommendations as well as our specification sheets: AKEMI®
Stone Cleaner, AKEMI® Concrete Film Remover, AKEMI® Rust
Remover, AKEMI® Acid Cleaner, AKEMI® Intensive Cleaner, AKEMI®
Algae and Moss Remover POWER or LONGLIFE, AKEMI® Wax
Stripper, AKEMI® Oil- and Grease Remover Paste, AKEMI® Graffiti-

stone is given its protective treatment, it must be totally dry. As a rule,
this is the case after 1 - 2 days at the earliest.
2. Preparation of a sample are: before starting we recommend to
prepare a sample area of 1 - 2 m² in order to examine the efficiency
of the product, to evaluate the appearance of the treated object
(colour enhancement) and to ascertain the material consumption as
exactly as possible.
3. Shake before use. The product is to be used undiluted and,
according to the absorbency of the base, is to be applied at least
twice - in the event of highly absorbent surfaces three times - wet-in-
wet at intervals of 15 - 30 minutes with a paint brush or a low
pressure spraying device (max. 1 bar). Product run-off should be
avoided.
4. The best working and ambient temperature is between 10° - 25°C;
direct sunshine is to be avoided.
5. The treated surfaces are to be protected from moisture (e.g. rain) for
at least the first 5 hours after application.
6. Paintbrushes, rollers, vessels etc. can be easily cleaned with water.
7. Graffiti paint can be removed with hot water or steam jet without
cleaner additives(20 – 50 bar, 120° - 140°C, spraying distance
approx. 10 – 15 cm).
8. In order to separate paint particles from the water a fine fleece should
be laid on the floor flush with the façade
