Grubau was founded in 1980 by Ing. Johan Rigole and Martine Margodt with one goal: to provide the best stone working tools with the best service to everyone involved in stone working.

This mission has continued over the past decades, allowing Grubau to become the market leader in Belgium. Its scope extended to GH Luxembourg, France and a reach throughout Europe.

Sons David and Dieter, who have been running the company for ten years, were joined in 2017 by Frederik – who first gained external experience as a business consultant. Together with the team, they put their shoulders under the company.

In an increasingly competitive market, Grubau takes on an advisory role to customers and helps answer their most pressing questions.
