Custom-colored Akepox® epoxy adhesive for exterior (and interior) use.
2-component system in convenient 400ML cartridges. For creating invisible adhesive joints for both interior and exterior applications.
Usage:
For weather-resistant structural bonding (e.g., miter, cross) in Technical ultracompact ceramics, (quartz) composite, concrete, and natural stone Invisible, thin adhesive joints due to large color selection and gel-like consistency
For vertical and horizontal bonding Also for bonding with various plastics, glass, wood, etc.
Properties:
Extremely high adhesive strength Much less tendency to yellow compared to traditional epoxy systems Solvent-free (VOC-free), therefore excellent for gas-permeable materials (e.g., techno-ceramics or glass), as well as solvent-sensitive substances such as Styrofoam
Adhesion even on slightly moist substrates After curing, harmless upon contact with food (Food-safe)
Processing time (open time) of 20 to 30 minutes Cured and sandable after 12 - 16 hours
Advantages:
Colors according to the standard AKEMI® color system with CC color codes. With the help of the AKEMI® color chart (Colour Chart Art.Nr. 10070), the correct adhesive color can be precisely determined.
The cartridge system provides maximum reliability (no errors in dosing, mixing, and color setting) and is economical (work quickly without excess adhesive).
Instructions for Use:
1. Thoroughly clean and slightly roughen surfaces to be bonded.
2. Remove the clasp from the cartridge and put the cartridge in the
gun; work the grip until material emerges from both openings; then
eventually screw up the mixing nozzle.
3. Both components must be thoroughly mixed when working without
mixing nozzle.
4. The mixture remains workable for approx. 20 - 30 minutes (20°C).
After approx. 6 - 8 hours (20°C) the bonded parts may be moved.
After 12 - 16 hours (20°C) approx. they may be further processed.
Maximal stability after 7 days (20°C).
5. Tools can be cleaned with AKEMI® Nitro-Dilution.
6. The hardening process is accelerated by heat and delayed by cold.
