Description
A special product from the LITHOFIN program for marble, natural, and concrete stone (MN). Solvent-based polish with high-quality waxes.
Note: Lithofin MN Polish does not contain chlorinated hydrocarbons (CHCs) such as trichloroethylene, which are harmful to health and the environment. The resulting slightly different product properties require adjusted usage – with nearly the same results.
Properties
Thanks to the use of high-quality raw materials, this product offers excellent protection and maintenance properties, spreads easily, and has long-lasting durability. After just one application, a polishable layer is formed which can be polished to a glossy or even high-gloss finish by hand or machine. Lithofin MN Polish refreshes the color structure of stone surfaces, improves appearance, and makes them low-maintenance and water-repellent.
Resistance: Lithofin MN Polish is resistant to general household dirt and de-icing salt. It is not resistant to nitro thinners, gasoline, etc. Depending on mechanical stress, durability can last several months.
Application
For the initial treatment of newly laid natural and concrete stone floors, window sills, tables, etc., to give them a fresh appearance and to protect them. It can also be used to refresh dull and matte floors. Lithofin MN Polish is used indoors as a replacement for standard maintenance products containing tri- or per-compounds (e.g., wax emulsions).
Suitable Surfaces: All finely ground and polished natural stone floors such as marble, limestone, Solnhofen stone, travertine, slate, granite, etc., as well as concrete stone, agglomerate marble, and terrazzo.
Instructions for Use
Shake bottle slightly before use. Apply Lithofin MN Polish thinly and evenly with a clean cloth or felt and let it dry. Then polish manually or with a polishing pad or soft linen cloth. Porous surfaces may require multiple treatments.
Note: The surfaces to be treated must be completely dry. Do not use Lithofin MN Polish below 15°C or above 25°C. Protect solvent-sensitive surfaces. Lithofin MN Polish is suitable for indoor use only. Well-polished surfaces are essential for achieving a good polishing result. In case of streaks, buff with steel wool or a nylon pad.
Tip: Layer-forming products can reduce a floor’s slip resistance; testing beforehand is recommended. Try the product first in an inconspicuous area. Lithofin MN Polish can be removed with Lithofin MN Power-Clean or in stubborn cases with Lithofin LÖSEFIX. A cream version is available for smaller surfaces.
Coverage: approx. 10–20 m²/liter depending on the surface.
Drying time: buffable after 5–10 min, fully dry after 50–60 min.
