Lithofin Oil-Ex

Description

Lithofin OIL-EX is a ready-to-use, gel-like paste consisting of a mixture of solvents and highly absorbent solid substances.

Properties 

Lithofin OIL-EX dissolves and absorbs oily, greasy, and oil-based contaminants and stains. Thanks to its pasty consistency, the active ingredients can work for a long time, allowing effective cleaning even of deeply embedded dirt.

Field of Application

For removing oil stains and similar contaminants from natural stone, concrete blocks, cement screed, and other absorbent surfaces. Ideal for kitchen countertops, but also suitable for garage driveways and other surfaces.

Application

Apply Lithofin OIL-EX thickly onto the dry surface using a spatula and press lightly. The applied layer should be approx. 2 mm thick. Let dry for about 12 hours, optionally covering with foil to prevent premature drying. Once the paste is completely dry — indicated by the paste turning completely white — sweep off the resulting powder.

Note: On dark natural stones, slight powder residues may remain in the pores after use. These will disappear over time on their own, or can be removed using Lithofin MN Power-Clean.

For deeper contamination, the process may need to be repeated once or twice. Covering the paste with foil can extend the working time. Do not apply at temperatures below 10°C or above 25°C. Do not use on plastics, lacquered or coated surfaces, or on surfaces not resistant to solvents. In case of doubt, test the resistance on an inconspicuous area first.

Coverage: Up to approx. 0.5 m² per tube with an applied layer thickness of 2 mm.
