Description 

Acidic products are required to remove cement residues and mortar stains. Only such products can truly remove cement films. Simply “covering” them with oily or wax-based products is not a permanent solution, as the residue will reappear. Such surfaces can only be properly restored with considerable effort. Lithofin MURO contains a mixture of special acids plus a cleaning intensifier, in a combination that has proven itself for over 30 years. This makes Lithofin MURO particularly suitable for a wide range of cleaning tasks by professional users.

Properties 

Lithofin MURO dissolves surface contaminants such as mortar residues, cement films, hardened dirt deposits, efflorescence, rust, and lime scale.

Application 

Lithofin MURO is universally applicable after laying tiles, in the natural stone industry, and for cleaning facades – practically anywhere where tiles, natural stone, or architectural concrete surfaces need to be cleaned. Lithofin MURO is mainly used outdoors and on construction sites.

Suitable Surfaces : All acid-resistant surfaces can be cleaned with Lithofin MURO, such as ceramic tiles, earthenware tiles, tile, clay and clinker floors, cotto, architectural concrete, washed concrete, and many types of natural stone.

Advice: Lithofin MURO is not suitable for polished or finely ground limestone surfaces. On iron-bearing natural stones (e.g., Serrizo), a yellowish discoloration (rust) may occur. These types of stone should therefore only be cleaned with Lithofin MN Cement Residue Remover, which does not produce this effect. For indoor use, we recommend the mild-scented Lithofin KF Cement Residue Remover, or for natural stones, the special Lithofin MN Cement Residue Remover.

Application Instructions 

Dilute Lithofin MURO up to 1:20, apply it to pre-wetted surfaces, and rinse thoroughly with plenty of water after a short contact time.

Note: Lithofin MURO is not suitable for acid-sensitive surfaces such as enamel, chrome, zinc, stainless steel, anodized aluminum, polished marble, certain decorative tiles, etc. In case of doubt, test in an inconspicuous area. When processing larger amounts, fumes may affect sensitive materials. Ensure good ventilation during and after use.
