AKENOVA® XL Panel Bond is a high-quality, elastic 1-component hybrid adhesive with high initial grab (High Tack). Specially developed for stress-free, full-surface single-sided bonding of large-format ceramic tiles, natural stone veneer (coated backing) and composite panels.

Thanks to its high initial adhesion, buttering & floating is no longer required, allowing large elements to be installed faster, more easily and more efficiently.

Suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications on damp substrates, cement-based construction boards, metal, wood, plaster, concrete, glass, masonry, plasterboard, silicate materials and SPC panels. Perfect for walls, worktops, countertops, niches and kitchen backsplashes, both indoors and outdoors.

The product cures by reacting with atmospheric moisture. On non-porous substrates, no moisture can reach the adhesive from the back side. The same applies to the front side, for example when using ceramic slab materials. If the substrate is not pre-moistened, the adhesive may not cure completely. Pre-moistening is therefore essential.

On porous substrates such as wood, MDF or other absorbent materials, the adhesive will cure properly because these substrates can absorb and transfer sufficient moisture to support the curing process.
