Description 

A special product from the LITHOFIN program for (quartz) composite and other artificial stones. Special protective product with water- and oil-repellent active polysiloxanes in a water-based formula. The active substances are UV-resistant and non-yellowing.

Properties 

Lithofin Protector >W< is easy to apply without altering the characteristic appearance of fine-rough composite materials.

Mode of Action: The active substances give the surface such properties that the penetration of water, oil, and grease is significantly delayed and stains are prevented. This makes surface maintenance much easier.

Field of Application 

For stain-repellent and easy-care treatment of composite and other artificial stones with a honed surface. Especially suitable for kitchen countertops and other stain-sensitive surfaces such as tabletops, counters, and use in bathrooms.

Note: The surface's sensitivity to acids remains. Occasionally, a slight lightening of the color may occur.

Application 

If you have no prior experience with the product, please test it first on an inconspicuous area. The surface must be dry, clean, and free from oil, grease, silicone, wax, etc. It is recommended to pre-clean with Lithofin Composite Cleaner. The temperature of the item must not be below 10°C or above 25°C. Treat the entire surface (not partially) in one go.

Apply Lithofin Protector >W< undiluted with a clean cloth in a thin, even layer and allow to penetrate for approx. 5–10 minutes. During this time, wipe and distribute several times. Do not allow to dry. Then completely remove the excess and streaks with an absorbent cloth until a uniform surface remains.

Caution: Protect glass, ceramics, plastics, polished, lacquered, and other solvent-sensitive surfaces from splashes. Clean tools with water.

Coverage: Up to approx. 30 m²/liter, depending on the type of surface

Drying Time: Surface dry after approx. 30 minutes. The treated item can be moved after 1 hour; do not use rubber suction cups. Full protection is achieved after 48 hours.
