Description
A special product from the Lithofin range for ceramic tiles, clinker, and sanitary areas (KF). This ready-to-use special impregnator is solvent-free and contains high-quality water-, grease-, and oil-repellent active ingredients.
Properties
Lithofin KF Joint Protector penetrates porous surfaces. Once dry, the repellent components create a strong water- and oil-repellent effect. Stain-causing oils remain on the surface so they can be removed before forming a stain. This makes the removal of kitchen grime much easier. The appearance of the surface is not changed, although a slight darkening in colour is possible. It will not create any gloss.
Field of Use
For treatment of porous cement joints in kitchens and bathrooms. Unglazed, porous tiles can also be impregnated along with the joints.
Directions for Use
The surface must be clean and grease-free. A thorough cleaning can be done with Lithofin KF Joint Cleaner. Then test a small inconspicuous area first. Apply Lithofin KF Joint Protector undiluted to dry joints using a brush or roller and allow it to dry. On highly absorbent cement joints, repeat the application if necessary. After approx. 20 minutes, and before the product dries, remove any excess carefully.
Please Note: Wipe off any splashes on glass, porcelain, and polished surfaces immediately with a damp cloth. Do not allow visible product to dry on the surface — remove thoroughly.
Drying Time: Approx. 2 hours. Full effectiveness is reached after approx. 24 hours. During this time, protect the joints from water and grease.
Coverage: Depending on the porosity of the joints: approx. 10 m²/L.
