Application:

Ultra-thin stone consolidator designed for sealing micro-cracks and reinforcing stone surfaces. Due to its extremely low viscosity and long curing time, AKEPOX 1016 penetrates even the finest invisible cracks, microfissures, and porous surfaces in natural stone, concrete, and artificial stone. It provides excellent sealing, even on low-absorption surfaces. Micro-cracks in some types of Diabase, only visible when moist, can also be sealed.

Available in two versions:

  • MICRO FILLER (transparent)
  • • BLACK MAGIC (black-colored)

Properties:

  • 2-component hybrid epoxy system curing through air humidity
  • Mixing ratio (weight/volume): 3:1
  • Very low viscosity (density approx. 1.0 g/cm³)
  • Solvent-free
  • Low odor
  • Color-enhancing effect
  • Processing time (at 20 °C): 1–2 h
  • Curing time (at 20 °C): 18–24 h
  • Surface hardness (at 20 °C): approx. 3 h
  • High temperatures accelerate, low temperatures slow down the curing
